Brooke + Kyle | Quail Branch Lodge Wedding | May 27, 2017

On a perfect Spring day, escorted by her Daddy, Brooke walked down the aisle to the (very silly) man of her dreams. Her grandfather officiated the wedding, as they held her late grandmother's Bible between their newly-wed hands. They promised each other forever in front of the ones that they love the most, and I was lucky enough to capture it all.

I love being able to document other's love stories, and I don't ever take the responsibility lightly. <3 Brooke + Kyle, thank you times a million for allowing me to be apart of your special day.

Quail Branch Lodge Wedding | Logan + Jonathan

Logan + Jonathan tied the knot at South Georgia's gorgeous Quail Branch Lodge in May. I don't say the "R word," but rain was forecasted for the ENTIRE day. We crossed our fingers and said our prayers. Someone was on our side, because it held off until I was loading my car up that evening. (Praise hands!!!)

They got married on their three year dating anniversary, and it was a gorgeous day for all involved. Her ring was his grandmother's engagement ring, and the whole day was filled with friends, family, love and excitement for their new adventure together as Mr. + Mrs. Gibbs. <3

Pebble Hill Engagement Session | Thomasville, GA

Funny story... I wasn't going to take a wedding on November 4th of this year. On November 5th, I am leaving for Arizona. Because November is slammed anyway, I decided to block that weekend off. Buuuuut then, Angela emailed me.

Like any normal human, I went to Facebook and searched her name (don't pretend you wouldn't). Annnnd she + Drew were the cutest ever. Long story short, I creeped a little more and decided I was no longer busy on November 4, 2017. ;) Safe to say that was the best decision I've made in a while... LOOK AT HOW CUTE THEY ARE.

We had so much fun exploring Pebble Hill during their engagement session, and I am SO excited for November 4th. ;)

Haley + Nick | Dixie, GA | April 29, 2017

Is there anything sweeter than a wedding on family land? Wedding days are always sentimental, but this is the cherry on top. On a gorgeous April afternoon, after their church ceremony, Nick + Haley welcomed their friends and family to Nick's grandparents (gorgeous) farm house. Not only did they get engaged here, but they celebrated their first day of marriage with their closest friends + family.

Mr. + Mrs. Clark, I wish you a lifetime just as beautiful as your wedding day and nothing less. <3

Raegan + Shawn | The Farm - Adel, GA Wedding | April 22, 2017

Mossy oak trees, an old farm house, a bridal party with previous brides, good food and a pretty couple... SIGN. ME. UP.

I think it's safe to say that I was in heaven yesterday at The Farm in Adel, GA. I spend a lot of time there, and it's close to my heart. The Farm is all things southern, cozy, classy and FUN. It is always a good time there. The mossy oaks are a photographer's paradise, and the bridal cottage is to die for. Seriously, I'd move in.

We celebrated Raegan + Shawn all day long, and we had a blast while doing it. Congrats y'all! :)

Cory + Brandon | Highgrove Farm Wedding | Valdosta, GA

Honest moment... I wanted to blog this wedding ALL day yesterday. I could not WAIT to pull these images up and get to work. It was Easter though, so I refrained. I'm still on cloud nine from Cory + Brandon's romantic day.

They tied the knot at Highgrove Farms here in South Georgia. Talk about a perfect setting! The weather was gorgeous. They were laid back and so, so in love. The way that they looked at each other... swoon. I must have exclaimed my love for them a thousand times.

I know for a fact that I'll never forget their beautiful wedding day, but what I will remember most is the their joyful attitudes and kindness extended to everyone involved. They must have thanked every vendor five times. I have so much confidence that their life together will be equally as beautiful as their wedding day. Cheers to forever, Dr. and Mrs. Beard! :)

Emily & Colby | Amelia Island Proposal

Where to start? I never know, which is probably why I rarely blog... ha! Let's try this: I met Emily what feels like forever ago. I'll cut this short and just say that she is one of THE best people I know. Seriously. So when Colby called and ask if I would be apart of this special day, I was so pumped. Possibly more pumped than anyone. He wanted this to be the best day of her life thus far, and I think he achieved it.

Emily's best friends and I met up that day, and scrambled to get everything in place. We may have made a wrong turn (or ten) along the way, but we had so much fun! We snuck around the area and set it all up, while Colby and Emily got ready for "dinner". About an hour later, the perfect little beach set up was ready for show time. And Emily had NO idea what was about to happen.

They made their way down to the beach to "take a quick picture before dinner", and I pretended to be a Russian Spy behind the sand dunes. ;) She said yes, and we celebrated accordingly! It was SO much fun, and I am so thankful I got to be apart of it. I can't wait to see where life takes you two. CHEERS!!

Lacey & Michael | March 11, 2017 | Sundown Farms Plantation

I kicked off my 2017 wedding season this past Saturday, and it could not have been more perfect. For the last three days, I've been thinking about what I would write here. So many incredible details were put into Saturday, and I don't think my words will ever be able to convey them in the way they deserve. It was truly one of those days you just had to be there for. The Donahoo wedding was perfectly sweet, silly, touching and southern. Every single details was well thought out, planned for and executed. Except maybe the wardrobe malfunctions, but, HEY, they conquered them with grace... and mimosas. Don't forget mimosas.

Throughout each part of the day, one thing was so apparent: their overflowing love for each other, and their family and friends, too. I could ramble all day about how great these people and this day were, but I'll finish it with this: Michael + Lacey, I'm not sure if I have ever met two people as well suited for each other as you. I adore you both, and I wish you nothing but years of happiness, mimosas and crazy friends. ;)

Devin & Levi | December 3, 2016

I finished up my 2016 wedding season yesterday, and it truly couldn't have been more perfect. The weather, venue, bridal party, family members, DJ, Pastor, food, and MUCH, much more were absolutely amazing. The wedding was held at Quail Branch Lodge in Lake Park, GA. Let me just say, the place is a photographer's playground any day of the week. But, come Christmas time, I think it might actually be the North Pole. The staff at The Lodge does an impeccable job at decorating. They have, quite literally, decked the halls.
I met Devin in middle school. She has always had such a kind and loving soul. However, I didn't meet Levi until this year. Even though I haven't known him for all that long, I know for certain that he and Devin are a match made in heaven. When the two of them are together, everything is at ease. Their wedding day was no exception. I kept thinking, "Ok, this is going way too well... what does someone have up their sleeve?" Thankfully, no one had anything up their sleeve. Their day was just that great. It was nearly impossibly to narrow it down to a small amount of images, but I did my best so I could share some with you here...

We lived it up all. day. long. After the beautiful sunset ceremony, we snuck off to have a few minutes alone (I am a pro at third wheeling). Then we wrapped up the day with the best cake and dancing ever.

I cannot think of a better way to cap off my wedding season for this year. It's safe to say I have the best clients in the world. 2016 was definitely a year to remember. Never in a million years did I think this little hobby of mine would turn into a dream come true. I don't take a moment of it for granted. Cheers to 2017, friends!
